2012 Highlights

 

• Holding eight workshops at The Haverford School for 29 talented performers.
• Holding one workshop at the Arden Theatre in Old City, Philadelphia
• Going on tour with performances of “Melodies of AWB”.
• Presenting a lively and entertaining version of “Charlotte’s Web” at The Agnes Irwin School.
• Performing Hand in Hand at St. Joseph’s University as part of Disability Awareness Week.
• Christine Rouse doing her disability awareness program, Kid are Kids at multiple schools and other community sites.
• Experiencing a full summer workshop at the Arden Theatre
• Performing for the very first time on a professional stage at the Arden Theatre in July – “Some Enchanted Evening.”
• Presenting “AWB Goes Broadway: Some Enchanted Evening” to more than 500 fans in Centennial Hall at The Haverford School in October.
• Enjoying its Ninth Annual Fundraiser – “Some Enchanted Evening” at The Haverford School following the performance of “AWB Goes Broadway”.
• A Valentines Party at The Great American Pub in Conshohocken.
• Launching a new website
• Receiving fabulous media coverage from outlets such as CBS Philly, The NBC Today Show and the Main Line Times.
• Caroling for seniors at Bryn Mawr Terrace in January.
• Christine Rouse receiving recognition for her work from both the NBC Today Show on their “Everyone Has a Story” segment and from the Please Touch Museum as their Great Friend to Kids Award recipient.
• Partnering with Peace a Pizza on local fundraisers.
• Enjoying amazing music presented by Grace Bernicker and Canary at Milkboy in Ardmore at a benefit concert for AWB.
