Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat
The AWB Senior actors’ production of Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat took place on September 28th at The Haverford School in Haverford, PA. The story is based on the book of Genesis- Jacob and his 12 sons. Joseph was Jacob’s favorite so he gave him a colorful coat, hence the fun show title! The performance was amazing and all of the actors worked hard throughout the year on the show. This summer we did a dress rehearsal for campers at ESF Summer camps to get us “show ready” for the fall!

The scenery and costumes were wonderful. The actor who played Joseph wore a beautiful long coat that was full of colors and there were large pyramids hanging down in the background. It takes a team to put on a performance- the AWB staff, musicians and dedicated volunteers. One volunteer said: “It is my honor to be part of this Amazing organization! It is so exciting to see the show come to fruition and see the actors/actresses shine!”
Thank you to everyone who came to the show!

AWB relies on volunteers.
The first Sunday of every month volunteers assist our actors at workshops as they learn their lines and rehearse their parts. Our most dedicated volunteers support our actors throughout the year and are a part of the yearly performance. There are opportunities for people who want a creative outlet through set design, props and costume development. Great for early teens, adults and seniors!
