Happy New Year!
The year at AWB is off to a wonderful start. Our AWB Junior actors have been hard at work rehearsing for their upcoming performance, which will take place on March 29 at The Agnes Irwin School. They are making fantastic progress as they learn their lines, songs, and staging, and their dedication and enthusiasm truly shine.

Meanwhile, our AWB Senior actors have begun preparations for their fall production of A Christmas Carol. In early January, the group attended a professional performance at People’s Light Theatre in Malvern, giving them an inspiring preview of the show they will be bringing to life this fall. The actors and their families thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and it was wonderful to see the students studying the characters, staging, and storytelling in action.

The performance left everyone energized and motivated, and our actors are more excited than ever to dive into their own production. We look forward to a creative and rewarding year ahead at AWB!

AWB relies on volunteers.

The first Sunday of every month volunteers assist our actors at workshops as they learn their lines and rehearse their parts. Our most dedicated volunteers support our actors throughout the year and are a part of the yearly performance. There are opportunities for people who want a creative outlet through set design, props and costume development. Great for early teens, adults and seniors!
